Built in the middle of the ancient Pamphylian city with origins dating back to the 7th century AD, Side is considered to be one of the world’s most notable archaeological sites, Side’s historic monuments of Greek and Roman descent are countless and include the huge well-preserved Side amphitheatre which has the capacity to seat up to 15,000 spectators and is still used today to host musical and theatre performances.
