Belek is a town on Turkey’s southern Mediterranean coast, purpose built in the 80’s to accommodate Turkey’s growing tourism demand for luxurious golfing holidays, the town is dominated by 4- and 5-star All-Inclusive hotels, much of the entertainment is found in the large hotels, offering spa centres, sports facilities, waterslides, and kids clubs.

Belek is famed for green fairways, there are around 20 golf courses in total dotted around the pine forest landscape of Belek of which 6 are championship fairways open to beginners and pros making it a particular sunny spot to enjoy the sport.

The town of Belek which can be found behind the sprawling golf courses is well worth a visit and has a number of bars, restaurants and shops and a weekly market to explore.

Belek’s unique surrounding’s gives it many attractions nearby to explore, including the Roman City of Perga which is just 20 minutes away by car. You can also travel to Antalya’s city centre in about an hour, here you can enjoy great shopping, sample traditional Turkish cuisine, immerse in authentic urban culture and experience the buzzing nightlife before heading back to Belek for peace and tranquillity.
