The Beach

Playa d'en Bossa, the longest beach on the island, can give you the impression that you see Ibiza in all its varied forms. All along the beach, there are bars and beach lounges with a variety of settings, from casual and family-friendly to hip and trendy places where people can dance.

The sandy sea floor is covered by clear waters, making it perfect for playing ball and splashing around. There may be waves to enjoy when the wind from the south gets up.

The busiest part of the beach is in the middle, between the renowned Jet Apartments and the Ushuaia Tower, where pool parties are held in the afternoon, and an endless stream of attractive people stroll along the coastlines. The goal is to make new acquaintances, be visible, and set the mood for the party later.

There is a large selection of pubs and eateries on the beach that are suitable for all tastes, along with the resort's main drag, which lacks vistas but is less pricey.

The most picturesque part of the beach is on the south end, where the sand is more extensive, and there is plenty of room to spread out your blanket away from other people who are also sunbathing nearby, even in the middle of August. It is quieter the further south you go.

There are no inexpensive beach bars on this section of the beach because it belongs to premium beach clubs. Enjoy a wonderful day on a lounge bed while servers bring you delicious food and drinks all day long.

A brief promenade that borders the narrow length of sand at the beach's northern end has some reasonably priced beach bars. Aside from the lifeguards, there are no amenities such as sun loungers or parasols.

It leads to a tiny harbour from where water taxis depart for Ibiza Town and the nearby resort of Figueretas. Additionally, from here, you may join beautiful boat tours and enjoyable boat parties, take ferries to Formentera, or both.

The Beach

The beach's length of two kilometres makes it ideal for strolls. At the southern end, you can climb the Torre des Carregador guard tower.

The tower is open for visits in the mornings and afternoons during the summer. You can learn interesting things about the only two pirate towers still standing on Ibiza and get stunning views of the whole island and the fortress in Dalt Vila in the distance.

Beachside Pubs And Eateries

Along the length of the beach, there are numerous pubs, beach clubs, and eateries. Several lively beach bars are in the centre of the resort, along with some lovely and reasonably priced beach eateries.

A modest selection of opulent beach clubs may be found at the southernmost part of the beach, where the sands are wider. Although they can be expensive, the experience is a wonderful holiday treat and well worth the cost.
