St Pauls Bay

Starting life as a small traditional fishing village, St Pauls Bay has grown into a flourishing resort. Remnants of its past can still be seen today but now it is a modern resort brimming with accommodation options for visiting tourists.

St Pauls Island is a hot spot for divers and there are a number of Diving Centres located here.

St Pauls Bay is named after the biblical tale of St Pauls shipwreck, it is said that his ship ran aground on St Pauls Island whilst on way to Rome during a storm and this set-in motion the Christian traditions in Malta.
