Marsaxlokk

The beautiful and idyllic Marsaxlokk resort will provide a colourful backdrop to a quiet and calm holiday, perfect for those looking for a minimal resort.

WHY VISIT MARSAXLOKK

Marsaxlokk is possibly the most picturesque resort in Malta. The seafront is packed with colourful fishing boats, mainly painted bright green, red, blue and yellow and makes for a postcard scene as they float calmly on the bay.

The village was once a small fishing village, and it still is to some extent. Tourists do come to Marsaxlokk but it is for the tranquillity and beauty of the resort. There are a few souvenir shops but nothing retail, an archaeological site containing remains of megalithic temples, some amazing buildings and lots of fish restaurants, some of the best in Malta.

There is no beach in Marsaxlokk, the seafront is mainly concrete but there is nearby St Peter’s pool, it provides a great place for swimming and sunbathing where a natural pool is carved into the coast. The closest beach is in Brizebugga about three miles away.

Marsaxlokk Holidays Malta are all about scenic beauty in a quiet location away from the major hustle and bustle of most tourist resorts in Malta.
