We are thrilled to announce a new and exciting bridge holiday for September2025! Following the sell-out success of our March trip in early 2025, we are offering another chance to experience the magic of Malta. While our March holiday filled up quickly, it’s important to note that the Maltese climate in March is considerably cooler and indeed classed as low season with an average daily maximum temperature of 18°C. September, however, offers a perfect late summer escape, where you can enjoy beautiful warm weather ranging from 23°C to 29°C.
Why is September the Perfect Time to Visit Malta?
September is truly one of the best months to visit Malta. While this period is still considered part of the peak season, which has resulted in a slight price increase compared to the March trip due to higher hotel rates, this is unfortunately beyond our control. However, the experience during this time of year more than compensates for the increase.
As school holidays across Europe come to an end, the island transforms into a more peaceful and relaxed destination. The Mediterranean warmth remains, with pleasant temperatures ideal for outdoor exploration, coastal walks, and unwinding on Malta's stunning beaches. With fewer tourists and a slower pace, you can fully enjoy the charm of the island in a more tranquil setting.
The combination of beautiful late summer weather, fewer crowds, and Malta’s rich cultural offerings make September an ideal time to enjoy an unforgettable bridge holiday. It’s a truly special time to be on the island, and we believe the experience will be well worth it.
Join the BMB team for a seven day bridge holiday at the 4 star Hotel Santana in St Paul's Bay, Malta. Throughout the duration of the bridge holiday, the BMB team will offer a full bridge programme, inclusive of two bridge seminars followed by the opportunity to play set hands with an experienced team on hand to assist in a friendly atmosphere.
Holiday prices are per person and based on two people sharing a double or twin standard room on an Half Board Plus basis, including flights with KM Malta flying from London Heathrow to Malta Airport and include transfers from the airport to and from the hotel, transfer time is approximately 30 minutes to the resort.

Bridge Holiday at the 4 star Hotel Santana in September 2025 - Half Board Plus
We will be staying at the beautiful 4 star Hotel Santana, located at the northern part of the island of Malta, in Qawra nestled in the charming St. Paul's Bay. The Hotel Santana is a delightful retreat that promises a memorable stay with its blend of comfort, style, and warm hospitality. This wonderful hotel is just a stone's throw away from the crystalline Mediterranean waters, offering guests spectacular views and a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The Hotel Santana is renowned for its well-appointed rooms, each designed to provide maximum comfort and tranquillity.
Hotel Santana is located in the centre of the Qawra peninsula, just a couple of minutes away from a 2.5 km promenade. Qawra hosts several restaurants, shops, supermarkets and a small sandy beach.
This package includes Half Board Plus which includes a buffet -style breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant, with unlimited local beer, local wine, soft drinks and mineral water available at dinner. The rooftop pool and sun deck are the jewels in the crown of the Santana Hotel, providing an ideal spot to soak in the sun while enjoying panoramic views of the bay. Hotel guests have free access to the indoor pool and wellness facilities for relaxing the body and mind.
The Indigo indoor pool is a freshwater pool that is heated in winter. The Santana hotel offers a whirlpool, hydrotherapy bath, # sauna and fitness equipment. The Indigo indoor pool has # two treatment rooms where you can indulge yourself and escape from the stresses of everyday life. Our therapists have years of experience and offer a choice Massages and beauty, facial and body treatments.

Hotel Rooms at the Hotel Santana
Standard Room facilities include air-conditioning/heating, en-suite shower, Wi-fi (free of charge), satellite TV, radio, safety deposit boxes, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and balcony. Mini-bar (stocked upon request available at an additional charge). Iron and ironing board available on request. Hair dressing services are available in the privacy of the room on appointment.
If you are looking to take your stay to another level Comfort rooms are available at a supplement of just £5.50 pppn. Comfort rooms offer a more spacious accommodation. We also have a small limited number of suites available.
Singles: Double rooms for sole occupancy room are available at a supplement from £29 per night. If you are a single bridge player, BMB holidays are always able to partner you up so you can always able to have a game, as well as other singles on the holiday, there is also the BMB team.
