WHY VISIT IBIZA TOWN

Ibiza Town is a grand, cosmopolitan, and ancient city offering the ultimate Balearic experience. There’s so much to explore from the beautiful historic buildings from the ancient old town, Dalt Vila - a UNESCO World Heritage site brimming with cultural sites to the magnificent boulevard of Vara de Rey. There’s great shopping, world-class restaurants, a mix of galleries and museums as well as being home to a “world-class’ night life scene.

Ibiza Town is separated into three distinct parts: the first being the Old Town, Dalt vila which was made a designated UNESCO World heritage site in 1999 where there is a cathedral, castle and lots of little cobbled streets to explore. The second part is the New Town which has graceful plazas like the central boulevard of Vara de Rey with the neighbouring Plaza del Parque which hosts a collection of bars and restaurants. Across from the Old Town, on the other side of the harbour lies the trendy Marina Botafoch which houses the mooring of the mega yachts of the super-rich, with stylish boutiques, restaurants and pre-club venues this area has a unique feel. There is easy access to several beaches from Ibiza Town including Figueretas Beach and Talamanca Beach which are located just outside the centre. Although Ibiza Town has so much to offer it remains that it is ’world-famous’ for legendary club scene in the summer months between June and September when the iconic Super Clubs Pacha, Amnesia, Privilege and Space are open.
